Edlow International is pleased to announce that its President and Chief Operating Officer, Jack Edlow and Russell Neely, participated in the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) Bridging Law and Technology Workshop, held in Stockholm, Sweden, from December 8–10.
The workshop, organized by the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency, convened international regulators, legal experts, policymakers, and technical specialists to examine the evolving intersection of nuclear law, regulatory frameworks, and emerging technologies. Discussions focused on ensuring that legal and regulatory systems remain aligned with rapid technological innovation across the global nuclear sector.  Jack Edlow delivered the keynote address focusing on the legal and regulatory implications and solutions for the nuclear industry.
In his keynote remarks, Mr. Edlow addressed the critical role of international cooperation, regulatory coherence, and practical implementation in safely advancing nuclear technologies. He emphasized the importance of aligning legal structures with operational realities to support innovation while upholding the highest standards of safety, security, and nonproliferation.
Following the keynote, NEA Director General, William Magwood IV, commended the presentation, stating:
“Your clear framing of the strategic context, coupled with concrete examples and practical recommendations, provided an excellent foundation for the sessions’ discussions.”
